Airgas USA LLC has announced that it will build two production facilities in California.
The company plans to build a new liquid carbon dioxide production facility in Stockton, and expand an air separation unit (ASU) in Etiwanda. The ASU expansion will be constructed within the existing facility.
The Stockton facility will produce liquid CO2 and support the manufacturing of dry ice used in customer applications, while the expansion of the Etiwanda facility will increase available supply of industrial gases to customers throughout Southern California, Airgas said in a statement.
Airgas did not disclose any financial details as well as a construction schedule.
