The California City Board of Aldermen approved a bid for construction of the Northwest Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project, News Tribune has reported.
The project will connect Marshall and Cedar streets to the city sewer system. The council approved the lowest bid of $940,970.60, which was submitted by Donald Maggi Inc. of Rolla.
In a related decision, the council approved $141,643 to Bartlett & West to observe and oversee the construction work.
In addition, a bid for demolition of a structure on 309 S. East St. was accepted from A&D Construction for $22,650.
