Highest beam put in place for Rams and Chargers NFL Stadium in LA

The ball continues to roll in the construction of the new LA Rams and Chargers new stadium with the placement of the stadium’s highest beam recently.

More than 2,000 project participants celebrated when the beam was lowered into place.

NBC Los Angeles reported that the beam was specially marked with the logos of the Rams, Chargers and companies involved with the construction. It was also signed by everyone who has participated in the massive project.

More than four million hours of labor have been put in since construction started on the stadium in November 2016. Work never stops. Construction workers work around the clock. There are 1,500 labourers on the day shift and 500 at night.

The stadium isn’t expected to be finished until the start of the 2020 NFL season.
