Construction begins on Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital tower

Construction has started on the new Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital tower.

According to a statement from the university, the nine-story Children’s Hospital tower is being built next to a 16-story new Medical Center for adults.

Construction workers recently set in place several two-story columns for the new Children’s Hospital, the university said in the statement, noting that there will be 373 beds for pediatric patients in new the facility.

The project is part of Loma Linda University Health’s Vision 2020 – The Campaign for a Whole Tomorrow.
