Presidio Companies is set to begin construction of a Hyatt Centric hotel in downtown Sacramento this month.
The 172-room hotel will be located at 1122 7th Street in a renovated landmark structure built in 1911. It is part of Sacramento City Center, a mixed-use development next to Golden 1 Arena, a new sports and entertainment complex, according to Asian Hospitality.
The 11-story hotel will feature more than 2,500 sq. ft. of meeting space and 1,000 sq. ft. of ground-floor retail. It will be managed by Interstate Hotels & Resorts.
The project is expected to be complete in summer 2020.
