The city of Los Angeles recently issued construction permits for two projects: a 204-unit apartment building and a seven-story hotel.
Uncommon and MGA Entertainment were granted a permit to build the apartment building and a six-story parking garage in Chatsworth.
The $37.8-million project involves the construction of a five-story, 224,300-sq.-ft. building on a 24-acre site at Winnetka Avenue and Prairie St. Once complete, the building will serve as MGA Entertainment’s new headquarters.
Further, the city issued a permit to Miramar Capital for a $24.8-million hotel project in Hollywood. The developer will build a seven-story hotel at 6516 West Selma Avenue.
Designed by Steinberg Hart Architects, the 79,000-sq.-ft. development will offer 212 rooms.
