New details on Disney California’s Marvel Land construction

Marvel Land may soon be the happiest construction site in California. New building details have come to light about Disney California‘s newest addition to the park.

The land will be home to Spiderman and the Avengers. Apparently, a Guardians of the Galaxy ride has already been built. According to VC Star, the information was posted on a Disney blog quoting internal documents.

The project will apparently be built in two phases — with 2020 earmarked for the opening of the first phase. There will be a Spiderman ride, an Avengers roller coaster, and a trolley that will transport park goers around the place.

In a press release about the new land, Disney promised a Super Hero universe that is completely immersive. The new theme land will replace a bug’s land which closed on Sept. 5 this year.
