Construction underway on 100-room hotel at Imperial Beach

Sudberry Properties and Tharaldson Development have started construction of a 100-room Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton at the new Breakwater Town Center on Palm Avenue, reports Times of San Diego.

The four-story, 62,000-sq.-ft. hotel features “beach modern” architecture, a fitness center, breakfast and lounge area, business center and swimming pool.

The hotel is the final phase of Breakwater Town Center, a public-private partnership by the city and Sudberry Properties that serves as a gateway to Imperial Beach.

The project is set to be completed in early 2020.
