Work to begin on $12 million San Diego athletic/academic structure

Access Youth Academy plans to build a $12 million athletic and academic facility in southeastern San Diego.

Patch reports that the project is moving forward, thanks to an investment partnership of Mission Driven Finance, Civic San Diego and the Alliance Healthcare Foundation.

The facility will be built on a vacant lot, one block north of Market Creek plaza near Horton Elementary School.

Additional project details aren’t available yet.
