McShane begins construction on San Bernadino distribution center

McShane Construction has started work on the Home Chef Western Distribution Center in San Bernardino.

The 107,134-sq.-ft. distribution center will support Home Chef’s growth plan and will be fully functional by early third quarter of 2019.

The facility will include 79,642 sq. ft. of food preparation space and 17,907 sq. ft. of office space. The property features a 30 truck docks and one drive-in door. Additional features include a vestibule, conference rooms, locker room, bathrooms, frock room and break room.

McShane is also completing site work including sizable on-site parking for 208 vehicles.

The architect for the distribution center is Harris Architects.
