Construction to begin on new hotel in Glendale

Construction has started on a new four-story Holiday Inn & Suites hotel in Glendale.

Being built at 1001 E. Colorado St., the project is designed by Alajajian Marcoosi Architects for A&S Colorado LP, reports Urbanize via the San Fernando Valley Business Journal.

The 37,500-sq.-ft. development, located between Adams and Cedar streets, will feature 134 rooms and 134 parking spaces.

The developer is demolishing the World Gym at the site to make way for the hotel.
