Hoodline.com, citing local building permit data, says Los Angeles issued 171 commercial and 577 residential building permits in the week before Dec. 12.
Data from the Los Angeles city government indicates 45 permits were for new building construction, 28 were for demolition projects and the remainder were for repairs and renovations.

The permit defines the project’s work scope as: “Three-story duplex with attached garage.” - Applicant Pacific Coast Builders was issued a permit for new construction of a residential structure costing $265,000 at 2747 Winter St.
