CalTrans seeks bidders for seven I-80 bridges, estimated project value is $53 million

CalTrans has posted a notice that it is seeking bidders for bridge rehabilitation works at seven bridges at six locations on Interstate 80. The overall estimated project cost, funded by the federal government, is $53 million.

The Caltrans posting says the bridges are between Weimar Overhead (Bridge No. 19-0038) and Cisco Overcrossing (Bridge No. 19-0118). This area is in Nevada and Placer Counties, near Sacramento.

“The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate or replace the deficient structural components” each of the bridges, CalTrans says.
