Malibu’s mixed-use development secures $130 million in construction loan

Pacific Equity Properties secured $130 million in construction financing for Cross Creek Ranch Malibu in Malibu.

Cross Creek Ranch Malibu is a 112,000-sq.-ft. mixed-use development in Malibu, a beach city just west of downtown Los Angeles.

The project will offer 70,000 sq. ft. of retail and restaurant space, including 10,000 sq. ft. of interior dining, and 42,000 sq. ft. of Class A office space.

Over 80 percent of the property’s 12.9-acre grounds will be dedicated to landscape architecture, water treatments and gathering places. The project is set to complete in 2023.

Marmol Radziner is the designer of the development.
