Link Logistics Real Estate (Link) has started construction of a 477,020 sq. ft. industrial/warehouse and distribution building in Sacramento. The LINK Logistics Center @ Depot Park is to be sited on about 27 acres at 6101 Midway St. within the Depot Park.
Sacramento municipal building permit reports indicate the project’s contractor is Buzz Oates Construction Inc. A Phased building permit was issued on Feb. 25 with scope incl “including site work, underground wet utilities, underslab plumbing, foundation and footings” for the warehouse.
Cushman & Wakefield is co-ordinating project leasing for the project at the former army depot.
The structure will include 36-foot clear height, 114 dock high doors, 8 grade level doors, ESFR Sprinklers, heavy power, skylights, and on-site parking options. The neighboring undeveloped parcel also owned by Link will offer the potential to accommodate more than 1600 autos or 572 trailers, the broker says in a statement
