As the COVID-19 pandemic eases, the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) reports a resurgence in building activity.
in a newsletter, the city reported a 15 per cent increase in building permit valuation, to $1.5 billion in the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year 2020-21 from $1.3 billion. The overall building permit volume for the fiscal year was $6.1 billion, LADBS reported.
The largest project in the final fiscal year quarter is a proposed 11-story, high-rise office building and parking garage at 444 W. Universal Hollywood Dr.
