The California Transportation Commission (CTC) has announced more than $3 billion to fund repairs and improvements on transportation infrastructure across the state, including $1.3 billion for local projects and to initiatives to protect local roads and bridges from extreme weather and natural disasters.
Another $1.3 million will go to roadway, guardrail, drainage and other improvements on Highway 29 near Clear Lake from Spruce Grove Road to Diener Drive in Lake County.
“The CTC’s decision to invest in our state highways while protecting city and county infrastructure will help make California’s roadways safer and more resilient one shovel, one project and one community at a time,” said Caltrans Director Tony Tavares.
