R.D. Olson Construction has started construction of apartments on Vintage Farms, an $80M residential village in Murrieta. The village will contain 330 market rate and luxury apartments spread across 11 buildings and 15 standalone garages on a 15-acre site. The development of Vintage Farms will take place over 18 months and will be one of R.D. Olson’s first projects in Murietta.

“It’s a pleasure to collaborate again for the fourth time with MBK Rental Living.” said Bill Wilhelm, president of R.D. Olson Construction. “Through this project, we will be bringing apartments of all sizes alongside plentiful amenities that will benefit everyone in the community.”

Project partners include Geotek USA (geotechnical consultant), Forma Engineering (civil engineer), SiteScapes (landscapes architect), SummA Architecture (architect), Gouvis Engineering (MEPS/Title 24), Tek Systems (low voltage), DesignArt (interior design) and BJ Palmer (Dry Utility).

Construction will happen in five phases. The first phase will develop of all amenities, which include the clubhouse, pool, jacuzzi, BBQ areas, and walkways, alongside the construction of the first two apartment buildings and two garages.

The following four phases will contain the construction of two apartment buildings and 2-4 garages in each phase. The project will consist of five phases with each phase turning over various numbers of units all within the 18-month period to ensure on-time delivery while causing minimal noise disruption to the community.

Nine of the 11 structures will be 40,320 square feet and house 30 apartments and two buildings will be 43,200 square feet each and will also house 30 apartments each. Across all 11 structures, R.D. Olson Construction is creating 449,280 square-feet of residential space to accommodate anyone from single dwellers to families of varying sizes.

Crews completed hillside grading, road paving, building pad certification, and implement wet and dry utilities alongside prior to building construction, bringing more than 250 construction jobs to the region.

Located at 28749 Clinton Keith Rd., Vintage Farms is situated in a prime location right next to Southern California’s wine country and is only an hour from San Diego.

The full project is expected to be completed by Fall 2026.
