Construction on 114 townhouses has begun at Centerhouse, a neighborhood development by Trumark Homes in Ontario, Southern California. The groundbreaking was announced Dec. 15.

Upon its opening in the spring of 2018, Centerhouse will deliver 114 two-story and single-story attached townhouse units measuring 1,430 to 1,946 sq.ft. They are to grouped in three-plex and six-plex structures featuring contemporary craftsman architecture.

The townhouses will feature three different floor plans, each with a garage space for two vehicles, two to three bathrooms, and up to four bedrooms. However, selected units will have terraces and/or a private lawn. Model houses are to be available by spring 2018.

“The Inland Empire is primed for continued growth and Trumark Homes is proud to grow out the footprint in this desirable market bringing much-needed entry-level housing product to a region that has experienced tremendous demand,” said Richard Douglas, the developer’s division president for Southern California.

According to the announcement, units at the 7.8-acre neighborhood will be offered at prices affordable to households earning a median income. For home buyers who plan to fund their purchase with a loan, Trumark Homes and its financial partners offer schemes that would make the down payment less burdensome with a grant. Pre-selling has been scheduled to launch in January 2018.

Development of Centerhouse at 2324 S. Euclid Ave. is part of the developer’s efforts to expand in the Southern California region where it has already opened six neighborhoods in Santa Ana, Chino Hills, Anaheim and Costa Mesa.
