Montage Hotels & Resorts to construct new resort and residences for Sonoma County

Montage Hotels & Resorts has announced its plans to manage and operate a new resort development in California’s Sonoma County.

The first phase of development known as Montage Healdsburg is delivering a total of 130 bungalow-type accommodations with a contemporary design.

It is the first Montage location to rise in Northern California, with a proximity to sceneries, dining establishments, and wineries in the Alexander, Dry Creek, and Russian River appellations.

“We are honored to partner with Ohana Real Estate Investors and The Robert Green Company to bring Montage Healdsburg to life,” said Montage International chief executive Alan J. Fuerstman. “Montage Healdsburg will feature breathtaking views of vineyards and oak woodlands, and will provide guests with signature Montage amenities. It is destined to become a wine country landmark, and we look forward to becoming a member of the Sonoma County community.”

The resort will offer a variety of amenities such as open air massages at Spa Montage, an infinity pool overlooking the resort’s vineyards, and an immersive children’s program.

Just like other Montage developments, it has a gourmet dining option with a treehouse-inspired dining room as well as an outdoor bar and grill.

Construction is slated to commence by spring 2018 with an opening date in spring 2020. It is designed by local firms Glazier Le Architects and Delawie. Serving as interior designer is EDG Design.

A collection of Montage Residences is being planned for a future phase of development, bringing vacant sites for custom-built homes and pre-designed single family units.
