Construction begins on waterfront restaurant at San Diego’s Embarcadero

The Port of San Diego and Brigantine have broken  ground on the Portside Pier restaurant project at 1360 North Harbor Dr. along the North Embarcadero waterfront in San Diego.

Portside Pier is a four-restaurant entertainment complex with a public viewing deck. It will offer a variety of dining options at different price points. There will be an expanded dock and dine to accommodate up to four vessels.

San Diego-based Brigantine is developing the 42,000 sq.-ft. complex and will operate the four restaurants: Brigantine on the Bay, Miguel’s Cocina, Ketch Grill & Taps and Portside Gelato, the Times of San Diego reports.

Brigantine expects to open Portside Pier in late 2019.
