California Landmark Group says construction has started for the $100-million Los Angeles “G8” office and residential development in the Marina Arts District.

The project is set on property fronting Beach, Glencoe and Del Rey Avenues. It includes 230 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments between 550 and 1,500 sq. ft. There is also about 25,000 sq. ft. of office space, as well as 15,000 sq. ft, of common space amenities, including a pocket park, multiple courtyards and swimming pool, a fitness center, and a rooftop deck.

The mid-rise complex, designed by architects Rios Clementi Hale and PK Architecture, has six buildings of varying sizes.
