Sudberry Properties says it has commenced construction on The Hub at Scripps Ranch, a mixed-use redevelopment project on 9.52 acres at the gateway to Scripps Ranch in San Diego.
The Hub will feature 260 apartments and approximately 11,000 sq. ft. of retail/restaurant space. The project is anticipated to open in phases, with the first apartments and commercial spaces available for occupancy in the fourth quarter of 2020.
The development team includes MVE Architecture, Reylenn Construction Company, Inc., general contractor, Pasco Laret Suiter & Associates (PLSA), civil engineering and land planning, GroundLevel Landscape Architecture, and Design Tec, Inc., interior design.
Colton Sudberry, president of Sudberry Properties, which has developed approximately 12.6 million sq. ft. of commercial and residential property with a market value exceeding $2.5 billion, said The Hub will include five four-story garden-style residential buildings, a leasing center, a 2,053-sq. ft. gym, a lounge and a terrace overlooking a pool area.
“Sudberry Properties has been planning The Hub at Scripps Ranch for several years and has collaborated with local leaders to create a vibrant residential and commercial center with much-needed workforce housing and restaurants. We’re confident that The Hub will make a vital contribution to the wonderful community of Scripps Ranch, including the surrounding businesses,” he said.
