The California Coastal Commission approved SeaWorld San Diego‘s dive coaster project in San Diego.

The park proposed a 153-foot ride called Mako that will be opened at the park next year. It would be the “tallest, fastest, and longest dive coaster in California,” 10 News reports.

The 153-foot ride received approval from the San Diego City Council last April. SeaWorld expects to begin construction in the next few months.

The ride will be constructed by Switzerland-based Bollinger & Mabillard. SeaWorld will build the attraction next to the Journey to Atlantis ride.
