SF Boy Scout’s Construction Industry Lunch-O-Ree scheduled for Oct. 4

The San Francisco Bay Area Council’s Boy Scouts of America 42nd Annual Construction Industry Lunch-O-Ree will be held on Friday, Oct. 4 at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square.

Rick Martellaro, president of Lathrop Construction Associates, Inc. will be recognized as the “Good Scout” Honoree, wrote Demont Fallon, executive vice-president of Foundation Constructors Inc. “Rick’s leadership in the construction industry throughout his career and his commitment to our annual event for many years makes him the ideal recipient of this prestigious award. Jeff Clark, founder of the Maverick’s Surf Competition will be our keynote speaker.”

Since 1978 the construction industry has come together and raised more than $8 million dollars in support of the SFBAC, Boy Scouts of America. “Scouting outreach programs help build self-esteem, self-confidence and teach valuable people management skills to our Bay Area youth, Fallon wrote.

“Please join me as a supporter of this important event. The following materials describe opportunities to participate at various levels. Our goal is to raise $500,000 and with your help this goal will be achieved. I anticipate that this event will sell out quickly so make your commitment early!”

Fallon can be reached at (925) 754-6633 or you can contact Frank R. Yoke, III at (510) 577-9221 or by email at frank.yoke@scouting.org.
