San Jose Stage Co. is preparing plans for a construction project at the current downtown site.
The company would expand the theater with a brand-new performance venue and add a hotel to the property, reports The Mercury News.
The existing theater totals roughly 7,500 sq. ft.. while the new theater would be 20,000 sq. ft. in size. The new theater and hotel would rise in downtown San Jose’s South First Area.
