Construction begins on affordable multifamily property in Los Angeles

West Hollywood Community has broken ground on Mariposa Lily, an affordable multifamily property in Los Angeles.

Mariposa Lily is being built in the Pico-Union neighborhood of Los Angeles. It will feature 40 residential units of affordable and permanent supportive housing, as well as a manager’s apartment.

The seven-story building is designed by HED. Mariposa Lily will be a mix of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom rental apartments, with half of the units.

Common-area amenities will include a rooftop patio, a community room with kitchenette, a computer area, a laundry room, a bike storage room, two social services offices, and one property management office.
