Granite Construction’s Pat Kelly named president of AGC of California for 2025

The Associated General Contractors of California (AGC of California) says that Pat Kelly, vice-president of operational excellence for Granite Construction Company, has been named as incoming president of the organization to serve his term in 2025. Kelly will be installed during the AGC of California’s Installation and Awards Gala on Feb. 7 at the Fairmont hotel in San Francisco.

“We are thrilled to have Pat Kelly step into the role of President,” AGC of California chief executive officer Peter Tateishi said in a statement. “With decades of experience in the construction industry and his deep-rooted dedication to AGC of California, Pat is exceptionally well-prepared to lead our association. His vision and expertise will undoubtedly propel our mission forward and strengthen the future of our organization.”

Joining Kelly for the 2025 term are the following officers, who will also be formally installed during the gala ceremony:

  • Ryan Aukerman, president-elect, Griffith Company
  • Allison Otto, treasurer, Otto Construction
  • Steve Rule, immediate past president, Turner Construction Company
  • Mary Teichert, vice-president, highway and transportation, Teichert Construction
  • Matt Seals, vice-president, building, Seals Construction
  • Brandon Pensick, vice-president, utility and infrastructure, Ferreira Construction Company
  • Henry Nutt III, vice-president, specialty contractors, Southland Industries

Kelly has been with the company for more than 40 years, holding numerous operational roles throughout his tenure.

He has also served as treasurer, chair and vice-chair of the Inland Empire District Board of Directors, vice-president of the highway and transportation division, and chair of the constructor awards committee.
