The Melrose Triangle project team is hosting a series of informational community meetings to update local residents and interested parties on upcoming construction activities at the project site. In collaboration with the City of West Hollywood, the team will be securing the site by filling in a large excavation hole that has been present due to previous excavation work.
The process of filling the hole is expected to take between six to nine months, depending on weather conditions and the availability of materials. The purpose of these meetings is to share the project’s progress and address any concerns related to construction activities.
The upcoming meetings will take place virtually on Wed., Feb. 26, at 10 a.m., 3 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. Participants can join online or dial in by phone using the following information:

The City of West Hollywood has mandated that the excavation at 9060 Santa Monica Boulevard be filled in after the expiration of entitlements for the original construction plans. This restoration effort is crucial for the safety of pedestrians and local residents. The contractor is expected to start the backfilling process soon, with a completion timeline of six to nine months, depending on various factors like weather and material availability.
To ensure the community stays informed, the city is hosting these virtual meetings, which will offer updates on the restoration work and provide an opportunity to ask questions. “We are committed to keeping our residents updated and addressing any concerns about the construction activities,” said the Melrose Triangle Project team.
