Construction is underway on a new $151 million stadium and sports complex in Ontario where a new Los Angeles Dodgers affiliate minor league baseball team will play.

The 200-acre facility will include a 6,000-seat minor league baseball stadium and construction will be completed by April 2026.

Tilden-Coil Constructors is the construction manager for the project.

“We are proud to contribute to a project that will have such a significant impact on the Ontario community,” Dayne Brassard, president and CEO of Tilden-Coil said at the groundbreaking ceremony last fall. “Our team is dedicated to delivering a facility that not only meets the vision of Ontario’s leaders but also serves as a state-of-the-art venue for sports fans, athletes, and the local economy.”

The city acquired 200 acres of land for the development of the Ontario Sports Empire to meet the region’s growing demand for sports recreation amenities. With participation rates in baseball, soccer, and softball well above the state and national averages, the Ontario Sports Empire will be a haven for the community, sports enthusiasts and athletes of all ages and backgrounds. It will be the largest sports complex of its kind west of the Rocky Mountains.

Project Highlights:

  • New 6,000 Seat Minor League Baseball Stadium – April 2026 Completion Date
  • New Soccer, Baseball, Football, and Softball Fields
  • New Basketball, Tennis, and Pickle-ball Courts
  • New Aquatics Center, and a Youth Sports Training Facility
