El Camino Health Rehab Hospital tops out, marking key construction milestone

Truebeck Construction has reached a key construction milestone on the El Camino Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Sunnyvale, with the topping out of the facility’s structural steel frame. Project team members signed the final beam before it was lifted into place in a ceremony celebrating progress on the 52-bed, 64,000-sq. ft. inpatient rehabilitation hospital.

Project partners include: Material Design Architects, Alcal Specialty Contracting, Inc, Allied Fire Protection, California Erectors Bay Area, Case Pacific, CSI Electrical Contractors, Inc., Gayle Manufacturing Company, Inc., Goodfellow Bros., SVM, Therma.

When complete, the new hospital will deliver care for patients recovering from strokes, spinal cord and brain injuries, and other neurological conditions, integrating the latest technologies and research to support therapeutic recovery in a safe, healing environment.

The project is being delivered in collaboration with PMB, El Camino Health, Lifepoint Health, and Material Design Architects, among many specialty contractors contributing to the build.
