The Clayco team has reached another major milestone at Hollywood Park Studios, celebrating the topping out of the transformative studio campus in Inglewood.

Phase one of the Hollywood Park Studios project will cover 12 acres, including five 18,000-square-foot sound stages. Two will be able to open into a single 36,000-square-foot space. Additionally, there will be a three-story, 80,000-square-foot office building and a parking structure that can accommodate more than 1,000 cars. The parking structure will also include a 20-foot-high bay on its ground level for up to 60 movie production trailers.

The site will initially serve as the host location of the International Broadcast Center (IBC) for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, which will house hundreds of media rights holders from around the world who have acquired the exclusive rights to distribute the coverage of the Games. Following the Games in 2028, HPS will be available for use for studio production and operations.

Additional phased development of up to 20 build-to-suit stages and an additional 200,000 square feet of related office space is planned with additional structured parking. The first phase and future development will be connected to the campus-wide fiber ring and power centers, delivering the highest level of service to ensure technology scaling, including current and future AI applications.

Global Architecture and Design Firm Gensler led the design for HPS, Clayco will serve as the general contractor, and Pacific Edge as project manager, with financing arranged by Guggenheim Investments.  Construction will begin later this month.
