The San Francisco department of building inspections is now issuing building permits, job cards and certificates of final completion and occupancy through an online form.

Changing from the email requests will make it easier access records and will reduce turnaround time, officials said. Click the link Request Public Building Records  to access the new form.

Feedback can be sent to dbi.communications@sfgov.org.

DBI is also transitioning to 100 per cent electronic plan review (EPR) for In-House Review projects starting January 1, 2024 and more information is available on the website’s resource pages.

The city is hosting two online information sessions in December. Click the links below for more information or to join the meetings.

Questions can be emailed to  dbi.epr@sfgov.org.
