Modesto City Schools has officially broken ground on the long-awaited Gregori High School Aquatics Complex, a $10 million project funded by the community through Measure L. Construction is expected to be completed by Winter 2027.
The project is being built through a Lease-Leaseback arrangement, with Acme Construction serving as the general contractor. This method allows the district to collaborate closely with the builder during the design phase, ensuring the facility meets both educational and community needs.
“This groundbreaking is a deep dive into opportunity, pride, and community support for Gregori students and families,” said district officials. “Thanks to Measure L and the support of Modesto voters, our students will soon have a world-class aquatic facility right at their school.”
