The North Hollywood Integrated Care Clinic, a $73 million, three-story medical facility, has officially topped out, marking a major milestone in construction.

The design-build project, led by contractor Swinerton in collaboration with HMC Architects, aims to transform healthcare delivery in North Hollywood by bringing primary care, mental health and public health services together under one roof.

The 55,000-square-foot clinic at 5300 West Tujunga Avenue is expected to serve about 9,000 patients annually. It will integrate the Department of Health Services, Department of Public Health and Department of Mental Health, creating a streamlined, “one-stop” destination for comprehensive care.

Key features include modern clinical and office spaces, a community and wellness center with flexible indoor-outdoor functionality, a demonstration kitchen for public nutrition and cooking classes, a civic art installation along the front façade, and a five-story, 260-stall integrated parking structure.

The ground floor is designed as a healthy lifestyle hub that can also function as an emergency response or community support center when needed.

“This milestone marks a major step toward delivering a facility that meets the growing needs of the North Hollywood community,” Swinerton said. “We are proud of our project team, partners and Los Angeles County for their collaboration in advancing this important healthcare resource.”

Construction continues, with the clinic expected to open next year, offering a model for integrated, accessible, community-focused care in Los Angeles County.
